$1 million for retirement

Just running some numbers and figuring out how to get $1 million in the bank for retirement. If you are making $15 an hour you have to work 32.5 years putting every dime into your mattress, a big jar, or wherever you want to save it. That is figuring a 2000 hour year. You could work 80 hours a week, putting half into living and half into your jar and then you could eat and live in a house. That is if you have a small family. The bigger the family the more hours. Or, you could find a way to make a passive income and show a few people how to do the same. You could then work your 40 hour week to live on and build an income to reach the $1 million. Even better, if you show enough people how to make it work and they show people and so on, you could quit your 40 hour week, live on your own terms, and do what you wanted to every day. You would consistently earn money without having to do anything.
