The new year started 10 days ago and 75% of the people who made resolutions have given up. I started wondering why we all wait until January 1st every year to improve our lives. If you've given up this point, are you going to wait for next year to try again? I don't think so. I did some research and here's what I've decided. A year is defined as the length of time it takes a planet to go around the sun one time. It can be looked at as January 1 to December 31, but that limits you to one chance a year. If you look at every day as the start of a new year and give yourself 365 days to reach your goals, 366 this year, then your chance of success is much greater. Who cares if you failed already this year. Wake up tomorrow and try again. Maybe you'll fail once, twice, 10 times or 100 times, but if you don't try you can't succeed. It took Edison 1000 times to get the light bulb figured out. Henry Ford went broke 5 times before he succeeded. Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team. The list goes on. Wake up in the morning and decide it is your day to succeed and don't let failure keep your from reaching your goals. All it takes is just determination.
